The Voodoo Queens were a North London band signed to too pure records and were part of the Riot Grrrl scene, and were one of the few bands fronted by a South Asian woman at the time. They formed in 1992 and disbanded in 1999 having released one full length album and several singles.

The band included Anjali Bhatia (guitar, vocals), Ella Guru (guitar, backing vocals), Stefania Lucchesini (drums), Rajni Bhatia (keyboards) and Anjula Bhaskar (bass). Rebecca Lunn later stepped in for Anjula and Mary Deigan replaced her on bass in 1994.
